The Alliance Hotel’s mission is to provide customers with a classic old pub experience. 

With three levels of hotel much of the focus is on the middle level's award winning bistro which is open for lunch and dinner six days a week. The bistro serves up fresh seasonal gastronomic pub food that is complimented by an impressive selection of fine wines and craft beers.

We are currently seeking experienced wait staff to join our friendly team.

Various hours available involving a majority of evening and weekend shifts. 

Key Requirements: 

  •   Previous experience in BAR /  RESTAURANT a la carte customer service essential (no fast food restaurants!)
  •   Current Queensland RSA - Statement of Attainment
  •   Team orientation
  •   Excellent communication skills
  •   Be motivated and able to work unsupervised
  •   Knowledge of wines, cocktails and/or craft beers is an advantage
  •   Availability on late nights and weekends required
  •   Passion for customer service and a friendly attitude is a must

We are currently recruiting an experienced chef across all levels to join our professional team.  

Full-time position available for the right candidate with attractive working hours, serving lunch and dinner five days a week. Two days off including a Sunday and no late night service! 

You will work for and learn from a Head Chef who is passionate about food, exciting in his culinary execution and a great teacher!

 

Successful applicants will have the following: 

  • Be passionate about food

  • Previous experience as chef in a restaurant kitchen is absolutely essential
    (preferably experience with similar modern Australian cuisine)

  • Can communicate well

  • Able to work in a team environment

  • Must be available to work evenings and weekends
    (Excluding Sundays - closed)

Being responsible for the management of ‘Camp Hill Cellars’, we expect that you will identify with the attributes and future development of the shop and be driven to succeed.  You will be provided with a rewarding environment, attractive working hours and a competitive salary package.

  • A passion for fine wine is a must, with a focus on local and international varieties
  • Extensive knowledge of craft beers and spirits
