Upstairs at Brisbane’s Alliance Hotel is the Leichhardt Room. Catering options include tapas platters, canapés and drinks packages for groups of 30 - 120 people (standing) with a set menu available for groups of up to 80 people (seated). When you reserve the Leichhardt Room for your next Brisbane function, your hire fee includes a fully equipped bar, separate male and female bathrooms, five outside balconies (including smoking area), flat-screen TV /permanent projector with large drop-down screen, microphones and surround music system. Cocktail style or sit-down furniture is available on request.
Ideal for parties and live music, the recently renovated Cellar Bar hosts up to 80 people. It features arched doorways, rustic metal and exposed brick, making this subterranean venue a unique function space located nearby to both the Brisbane CBD and Fortitude Valley. Our industrial-chic function space is hidden in the underground cellar of the hotel and has a separate entrance at the side of the building. One of the most exclusive function spaces in Brisbane, the Cellar Bar is whatever you want it to be - live music or DJ event, sit-down dinner, business function or birthday party - the choice is yours.

Located on our second level, ‘Headquarters’ or ‘HQ’, is the Alliance Bistro's stylish private dining room that seats up to 16 people comfortably at its large French-provincial wooden table. With its elegant chandelier and beautiful brick fireplace, HQ is the perfect private function space for more intimate events and celebrations, whether business or personal. Private Dining Room
Nestled within The Alliance Hotel’s cellar and decorated with antique skis and ski-resort paraphernalia, the Chalet Bar is Brisbane’s first ‘après-ski’ bar and function room, and the perfect place to host a private dinner, team-building event or intimate party. Serving a variety of delicious cocktails, schnapps, craft beer, spirits and vintage wine by the glass, it takes inspiration from the revered après-ski lounges of European ski resorts, making our Chalet Bar a one-of-a-kind function venue in Brisbane.
