Autumn is here and as the nights cool down slow cooked joints of lamb or beef are always a hit, as well as Roast Suckling Pig. Our pigs come from a farm in the Darling Downs where they are fed on an organic diet including macadamia nuts which gives the meat a unique unrivalled flavour.
I really love this time of year with all the wonderful fruits Queensland has to offer - pineapples, watermelon, mango, papaya to name but a few. I like to use some of these gems as a showstopper salad with the main course to compliment bbq meats and fish instead of relegating them to dessert.
