Well what a year 2022 turned out to be!
From delayed reopenings in January due to Covid, to flooding rains across our beautiful Brisbane and most of the Eastern
seaboard in February and ongoing supply chain issues, we, like most in our industry, had our work cut out for us!
We at The Alliance, being the big hearted, small business that we are, do not shy away from hard work, and our hard work was recognised when
we were nominated as one of 4 finalists for Best Restaurant Metropolitan in the Queensland Hotel Awards for Excellence for 2022.
Although we did not take away top honours, we are proud of our efforts each and everyday to bring our customers high quality meals and
beverage options, along with a strong desire to make each and every person feel like they belong, that this is their local. Our Venue
Manager Jordan Mallet, was also recognised for her contribution to the hospitality industry as a finalist for Front of House Person of the
Year.
We are so grateful for all the support you have given our small, independent pub on the corner. We have got some big things planned for 2023, and no matter what the world throws our way, The Alliance will always be somewhere anyone can call home.
We wish you and your loved ones all the very best for 2023, hoping you get time over the next few weeks to rest, reset and recharge ready
for the new year ahead.
We will be closed from 4pm December 23rd, reopening for 2023 on Tuesday 10th of January at 11:30am.
