Back before social media and smart phones, people gravitated to the local pub as a chance to catch up with family and friends, have dinner and drinks (sometimes being the only restaurant in town), perhaps a quick lunch "counter meal" between jobs, and for many, perhaps meet a future partner.

Growing up in the 80's, our closest pub was 20 minutes away, in a small town (population 40). Us kids would entertain ourselves by holding running races on the wraparound verandah, only pausing when Mick, our local publican, 6 foot tall, always in footy shorts, with his curly mullet hairdo was cooking the steak orders on his BBQ located at the corner of the verandah.

Oh the 80's!

As we grew older, and no matter where we lived, the local pub was always an important feature of the weeks social events. When we would come home to visit the family, a trip to our local pub was always organised, with Mick, and his wife Annette, welcoming you back home like  extended members of the family.

The local pub is the original remote office - and continues to provide a great place for those that need to escape the '4 walls' of their office, or facilitate a catch up colleagues or clients.
These days there is a strong focus on beautiful, restaurant meals using fresh, seasonal produce, a variety of alcoholic and low/non alcoholic drinks and even WIFI.

 It's a Win Win scenario!

Working hard, making friends and supporting your local!

Come down, bring your laptop if you need, and enjoy a delicious meal, drink and a friendly hello.
